On 27th August, the Men’s and U23 Men’s squad held a ceremonial flag and jersey presentation to officially send our athletes off for the Asia Cup held from 1-2 September (U23 Men’s) and 3-6 September (Men’s). SBSA Council members and SportSG representatives were in attendance for the ceremony.
The teams departed from Changi Airport Terminal 1 for Kochi, Japan on 29th August to begin their bid to qualify for the World Cup. A strong crowd consisting of family and friends were present to send our players off.
