Perth Fremantle Rebel Tournament


Singapore Men Softball Team participated in the Perth Fremantle Rebel Tournament from 25th to 30th May 2022 to prepare for the upcoming Men’s Softball Asia Cup 2022 in Japan.

The only previous time the team competed in this tournament was in 2019, preparing for the Men’s Softball World Championship.

The Team played 7 gruelling matches over 2 days, giving everything we’ve got despite the "cold". We are proud to announce that we have achieved 2nd overall (improvement from 2019 - 4th). posting a commendable .400 Batting Average (AVG) - Pitcher/Infielder Mohd. Huzaifie posted a solid .615 Slugging (SLG) - Pitcher Aloysius Ong was finished with a 1.93 Earned Run Average (ERA) & .5 Strikeout rate (K%) - Captain Marcus Chew achieved .583 On Base Percentage (OBP) The team would like to extend our gratitude to Nathan Brown, Fremantle Rebels Softball and WA Softball for their hospitality. We would also like to thank all teams for raising the bar high for us. We hope to be back again.
